Specializes in Pediatrics

Amblyopia: Crossed eyes are very common in infants and can be treated fairly easily by an Pediatric Opthalmologist. Talk to your pediatrician if you need a referral. They will examine her eyes and determine which eye is lagging, and in what direction. They may choose to cover the good eye, to strengthen the muscles of the lagging eye, or they may chose an alternative treatment.
