A member asked:

During my first pregnancy, i experienced light brown discharge at 14 weeks than mild red bleeding at 19 weeks. both times doctor said everything was fine & my pregnancy was healthy. would my next pregnancy be considered high risk?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pregnancy ?'s: Bleeding at 14 weeks ("brown discharge") and "mild red bleeding" at 19 weeks may have multiple causes, including the position of the placenta, covering partially the cervical canal. This is not necessarily going to occur in your next pregnancy to consider it "high risk", but your OB physician should be made aware.
