On 12/6 i started lightly spotting, i've never had an irregular cycle and have never spotted before. my cycle is actually due today, 12/16 and the spotting hasn't stopped but it is a little closer to a normal flow. should i go to the doc?

"Spotting" ?'s: At 27, if your menstrual history is regular (24-32 days apart) , and pregnancy is possible, obtain a serum HCG test in the week after your period is due to be certain about pregnancy, as pregnancy outside the uterus (ectopic) is possible. If the spotting occurred after sexual activity, it may be due to cervical inflammation, so if the test is negative, see your gyn physician for an exam.
