The fluctuations of estrogen and progesterone can be easily affected by pregnancy, stress, weight gain/loss, lack of sleep, exercise, thyroid problems, and uterine issues such as adenomyosis or fibroids. If your irregular bleeding persists, talk to your Dr about your irregular periods and what testing can be done to determine the cause.
