Irregular periods: Irregular menstrual periods are common. The fluctuations of estrogen and progesterone can be easily affected by pregnancy, stress, weight gain/loss, lack of sleep, exercise, thyroid problems, and uterine issues such as adenomyosis or fibroids. If your irregular bleeding persists, talk to your Dr about your irregular periods and what testing can be done to determine the cause.

Vaginal spotting ?'s: If your periods have been otherwise regular (24-32 days apart, "spotting" especially if sexually active can result from inflammation of the cervix. There are other causes, so see your gyn physician for an exam and further testing.
