Highly contagious: Measles is a highly contagious disease to those who are unvaccinated. You should isolate the child away from others so that the infection cannot spread. If the child is bathed in a bathtub or shower that is used by others, it will need to be thoroughly sanitized before anyone else uses it. This applies also to towels, floor, counter, soap bottles etc. Call your Dr for any difficulty breathing, etc

Absolutely: You can definitely bath a child with measles. I'm sure it will feel good to child. If child starts to shiver, though, get out of tub, dry off immediately and wrap in warm blanket until the shivers stop. No reason to give a bath that is making any symptoms worse.
