NO!: Please do not drug your child to get him to sleep! Sleep is a learned behavior, unless one is completely exhausted, and he needs to be taught how to self soothe and put himself back to sleep if you want a good, long term solution to the problem. First. decrease daytime napping. Next, have very specific bedtime routine and put into bed drowsy, but not asleep. Talk to pediatrician about strategies
