I may have made contact with dog feces while retrieving a package. i checked the contents inside but i feel like i may have contaminated what was inside, so i left it alone to sit for a few days. will it be safe to use the contents inside after?

Little or no risk: Contact with animal feces (dogs and others) isn't pleasant, but it's pretty safe. The chance it contained an important germ that would cause a serious health problem is almost zero. Just wash your hands after possible contact. You don't say the contents of the package: if food, maybe safest to discard it. Otherwise, no worries.
