Need testing: I have learned that your local system requires certain basics in order to get tested. Would suggest that be a prudent step. Start process, and when approved, get the PCR protocol, not the rapid, which has too many false negatives. Hope things go well for you.

COVID 19 contact: Symptomatic? Was it a close contact? Please quarantine. In South Africa- one consults with a medical provider who will determine need for COVID 19 testing. Consult your local primary care provider or you can use telemedicine for individual consultations. There are a number of free apps you can use to look at your risk. Testing might not be approved if asymptomatic.

See below: Covid-19: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html Please contact your doctor by phone for further evaluation and mechanism for testing in your area. Wear a mask, stay away from others, practice hand hygiene. Be sure to get tested, if you get symptoms. If you develop breathing difficulty, go to the nearest hospital, immediately. Wish you good health.
