Myocarditis: Mild cases may have no symptoms, but clinically significant myocarditis causes marked weakness, shortness of breast with effort, cardiac arrhythmias. In my opinion, chest pain isn't a common manifestation but chest tightness or pressure can occur. EKG and echocardiogram demonstrate abnormalities. Chest xray shows abnormalities when congestive heart failure develops.
