Hi. i just want to know if my toddler is overweight. she is 2 years and 8 months exactly and weighs 16.5kg?

95th percentile: Toddler Weight varies greatly, especially in the ages between 2 and 3 yrs old. The average weight for a 2y 8m old girl is between 11.5kg and 17kg. Your daughter is at the upper range of normal 95th percentile. Her Height should be between 86cm and 99cm. Since her weight is in the 95th percentile we would expect her height to also be 99cm. If she is not, then reduce daily calories

Need height: I would need to know your toddler's exact height to tell you if she is overweight, because at this age we determine ideal weight based on the child's height percentiles and even still head circumference percentiles until age 3. Also, knowing her ethnicity/race would be helpful as some races are of smaller stature/weight, so should take that into account as well.
