Skin lesions: Melanoma, as a rule, do not blanch. Even the ones that have partial pigment or no pigment do not blanch. Any raised lesion that blanches is made up of tiny capillaries that contain blood. The blanching process when you press on them causes the blood to temporarily go out of the capillaries, leaving them skin colored. It is more likely that a blanching lesion is a hemangioma and benign .
