Good question: I'm giving you an anecdotal experience I had with an AID's patient with PCP pneumonia back in the early 90's while working in the ICU. I was called because the patient was on the floor, with respiratory distress. I picked him up off the ground, and ordered a nebulizer treatment with albuterol. The patient thanked me the next day and said the stuff really helped him.

Breathing trouble: Covid patients who have respiratory distress should be hospitalized for appropriate treatment. The most common cause of the breathing problem is oxygen deficiency and in my opinion nebulizer treatment alone without supplemental nasal oxygen will most likely be insufficient.
