My 3 year old son cries a lot, especially when i pick him up from school. i first thought it might be because he is hungry and sometimes he didn't sleep at school so he is tired. it's a truly wonderful school and he loves it there. why is he crying?

Check temperature: If he is otherwise well, without fever or other symptoms, I would advise observing, ensuring adequate hydration. He should have a flu vaccination, unless otherwise indicated. Offer a snack after school and an after school fun activity at home. Develop an after school routine which is engaging and allow nap time.
