Basics: Show up on time, treat the staff & doc with respect, know why you are there (write up a list/narrative if needed). Be sure to clarify any confusion you have with a diagnosis or treatment plan & do your best to follow it. Pay your bills or make sure your insurer does. If you can do these as best you can, docs will be happy to work with/for you.
