A member asked:

Had a ct scan for a persistent headache a few months ago. it was normal but since that episode of headaches i occasionally see a flicker of light in my left eye, like a speck of glitter. should i be worried about a brain tumor, even with a normal ct?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Do not worry: You may possess classical migraine headaches and the described "flicker of light" is consistent with an aura. There is NO evidence to substantiate a brain tumor, and the normal CT scan should fully reassure regarding structural brain disease. Discuss further with your doctor, management of such spells.
