Follow up is key: You need to be seen on a regular basis for chronic conditions to ensure that you are taking the correct dosage. Your doctor wants to see you to run tests like HbA1c, that is what helps direct dosage changes, also your doctor needs to know if you are having hypoglycemic episodes. These are just a few reasons that they want you to come in to be seen before they refill your medications.
