A doctor has provided 1 answer

Retrosternal pain: You may have an inflammation of the esophagus or esophageal motility disorder. Avoid spicy foods, alcohol, caffeine, chocolate and irritants like aspirin, ibuprofen or naproxen. Take a medication like famotidine to stop acid production. If not improved I recommend consulting a gastroenterologist for evaluation treatment.
