Extended "period" ?: Bleeding for "ten days with clots and cramps" at age 37 may be due to multiple causes. See your gyn physician for an exam and other testing. If pregnancy is possible, obtain a serum HCG test to be certain, as a pregnancy outside the womb (ectopic) needs immediate attention/treatment.
