When using lorazepam, how often is often enough that you need a taper? i take 0.5mg as needed for various reasons. is taking this low of a dose 3 days in a row too much? how about using it occasionally/sporadically for a total of 5 times in a month?

Lorazepam use: Lorazepam is a medication for Anxiety. Lorazepam is indicated for: • Panic symptoms • If you are overwhelmed • Racing thoughts • Palpitations •Very upset or angry •Restless •Marked tension •GERD symptoms If you have any of these symptoms, it is ok to take 0.5mg Lorazepam 3 days in a row or using it occasionally/sporadically for a total of 5 times in a month. This frequency does not need tapering.
