I take vyvanse 60mg once a day. currently, i have a bad cough & thick phlegm. i read that you should take mucinex dm with vyvanse. is this true? dm is the only one that seems to help. if i wait a couple hours after taking vyvanse will it be okay?

Vyvanse: DM(dextromethorphan) is listed as a potential interactor with Vyganse and thus should be avoided. DM suppresses cough. I feel you need to loosen phlegm and should take plain mucinex rather than suppress your cough. Mucinex will help loosen phlegm and help you expectorate it.
