Immunizations : If a child has just received their immunization, fever of a low grade, redness and irritation of the injection site are not unusual. Tylenol is usually recommended for the first 24 hours to minimize these symptoms but if these symptoms continue after 24 hours from the time the child got the shot, the child should see their physician for review of other possible causes.
