Scar or?: Could possibly be excessive scarring response from the surgery, or could represent normal reaction to foreign body introduced in the surgery such as suture or mesh. Need to be examined by surgeon to get best evaluation and determine if any treatment is needed or not. Becomes more urgent if lump is reddened, growing, or painful. Hope that helps
