Hi, my wife recently went on the hcg diet and since stopping with the diet she hasn't stopped bleeding despite not being on her period. she uses mercilon as well. any advice as to what could be wrong or what she could do? thank you?

See a gynecologist: Research has shown no benefit from HCG for weight control and increased risk of life threatening blood clot formation and yes vaginal bleeding. In the U.S. HCG is banned in over the counter products. Birth control pills containing both progestins and estrogens like Mercilon ALSO increase risk from blood clots as do obesity and smoking. Your wife is playing with fire and should see a doctor.
