HPV Vaccine: Yes, everyone should have this. However the government limited it early to those under 26 years. There is now enough evidence that this vaccine can help even after exposure. Hpv protects against the four strains of hpv that can cause 95% of the cancers seen in humans. I recommend it to every patient i see.

Everyone.: The HPV Vaccine/Gardisil/Cervarix is recommended for all men and women <26 years old for preventing the acquisition/spread of human papilloma virus (type 6, 11, 16, and 18), which can cause genital warts & cancer in men & women (cervix, vagina, penis, anus, and oral!) It won't affect your periods/fertility/sexual activity. Safe even if sexually active, if you have the virus, & when breastfeeding
