Two diagnoses : You are understandably confused as there is significant overlap, but these are essentially different diagnoses. One of the main symptoms in empty sella is fatigue and chronic fatigue syndrome has specific criteria for diagnosis. Timing of diagnosis and response to treatment would be critical in delineating the 2 conditions and your PCP or endocrinologist would be best to further clarify.

No: Empty sella may have no clinical significance but fatigue is caused by different situation. Check sleep, thyroid, anemia, depression, medication reactions
