Pregnancy related: Unfortunately, the increased amounts of fluids in your body due to the pregnancy causes nasal congestion and swelling in your nasal passages and sinuses. Since many medications are unadvisable, the best thing you can do is a saline nasal wash every morning. This will clear out mucus and soothe the passages. If you absolutely need to clear your nose, try a nasal spray.
