A member asked:

If you use peroxide to clean out ear wax when you have fluid in your middle ear can it cause damage to your ear?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Peroxide can damage your ear with or without fluid in the middle ear. If you think you have fluid in the middle ear, it would be prudent to see an ENT doctor. You may instil baby oil in the ear to soften the wax and allow it to come out on its own. Wish you good health!
