I have had minor sinus swelling over the past few days (allergies). however, now my ear hurts when i yawn or burp, and noises seem a little drowned out. i have had a small fungus in the ear 5 years ago, and have a history of chronic ear infections?

See a doctor: We can't diagnose over this platform/without examining your ears. This sounds like it could be fluid behind your eardrum, which is common with allergies and other congestion. This can develop into an infection, which is why you should be examined. Sometimes with allergies and fluid like this a nasal spray with a steroid in it (flonase) can help.
