Doctor can evaluate: Pills that are not fda approved medications can cause worry at times. Nobody knows what all the effects are, for those thousands of non-prescription products out there. Of course, the pimples could be unrelated to the pills. A primary care doctor or a dermatologist can evaluate and help diagnose the problem. If it is folliculitis, antibiotics may be needed, plus a test to culture for bacteria.
