Can call Dr on video: It is not normal to have painful sex. Painless sex is the norm. One's primary care doctor can evaluate the pain symptoms. The doctor will examine and want to know where the pain is, how it starts, how it ends, what makes it worse, and what makes it better. That "sex hurting when it's a woman's first time" might be a myth.
