Pressing on skull: Your skull is a rigid bony box, designed to protect the brain within. Past infancy, when the fontanelles and sutures close, you cannot hurt your brain by pressing on the skull. Using a sledgehammer or similar weaponry, possibly, but it is quite difficult to self inflict injury to one's own head.
