Concerned, yes: Eating inorganic material such as dirt, concrete, or dry wall could indicate an iron deficiency especially or another vitamin deficiency. It can also indicate a developmental issue. I'd bring this issue up with your pediatrician for discussion of anemia, and developmental evaluation.
