I have this insane pain in my upper back on the right side. it is where i would beloeve the kidneys to be. its not muscle aches, but i exercise regularly and drink lots of water. the pain is keeping me from walking normal. what can i do ?

Examination: It's important that you seek medical care. In order to know how to treat a problem, the cause must be diagnosed. There are many reasons for back pain, most annoying, some dire. Please seek professional care. You don't have to suffer. Don't continue trying to remedy this on your own.

Get a diagnosis: Upper back pain may be due to vertebral issues, lung or diaphragmatic disorder, esophageal or gastric, etc. To successfully fix, need to pin down cause. See your doctor
