Every time i take a home test i get a positive, but then i go to the dr. and it comes back negative. what could cause this? the home tests are all different kinds and taken about 3-4 days missed period?

Easy to figure out: A home urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result if done correctly and read correctly, the week after missing a period, or 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have been). In this odd situation, a woman can take a couple of her home tests to her doctor's office and do the doctor's test plus her two home tests, all on the same urine sample, and see the results with her doctor.
