Why did you check?: If your baby is feeding well and playful there is no need to worry. I wonder why you checked the temperature? Axillary temperature is not the best to use because it could be affected by the environment and clothing. If apart from the temperature your child has other issues, it is best to have a medical personnel examine the baby. Could your child be teething?

Don't panic: While that temperature is considered a very low grade fever, it is not by any means dangerous. Your body makes a temperature to fight off germs, both bacteria and virus, that cause infections. The fever actually helps your immune system work better. Keep your child well hydrated, as a temperature causes you to need more fluids. See doc in next few days if fever doesn't go away or other symptom
