Molluscum contagiosu: First, as we discussed in a previous question, make sure the diagnosis is confirmed. Molluscum contagiosum on the chest is rare in healthy adults. If confirmed, the lessions can be immediately removed and cured painlessly by a dermatologist. Untreated, they could last a few months, but usually no longer. If lasting longer, that argues against MC as the cause.
