See a doctor: Any problems with swallowing should be evaluated by a careful in person exam. A primary care Dr can look at the throat to identify any problems or anomalies. If further or deeper exam is required, an ENT Dr can use a scope to look farther down the throat and determine if there is any problem or anomalies closer to the opening to the windpipe, the epiglottis or the esophagus.
