Is it possible to see fibrosis of the heart during autopsy without microscopic testing?

Fibrosis: In most cases of myocardial fibrosis or myocarditis microscopic examination is needed for diagnosis, but there are cases where myocardial fibrosis or scarring is obvious on gross examination at the autopsy table.
