Call,the surgeon: Pain may or may not be serious, but it was unexpected and should be evaluated. Best done by the surgeon who performed your appendectomy. Sometimes gas used to expand the work area remains and causes discomfort, but there are other, more serious causes that cannot be ignored. Call today and get treated or reassured. Good luck
