I am on the zpac antibiotics for bronchitis and i know i can't take antacids, but i have heartburn and am wondering if gas-x is considered a antacid?

No: No, gas-x is fine with zithromax, it is not an antacid. Antacids would be considered things like tums, rolaids, maalox, etc. If you're having minor heartburn, you could take Pepcid or zantac, (ranitidine) those are not antacids, either, and can be taken with zithromax.
