See your physician: The typical dose for hydroxyzine in the USA is 25-50 mg. That being said, if you have underlying anxiety in addition to your insomnia, you won't get a good night's sleep until the anxiety is treated. See your physician so you can get on medication to treat the cause of the insomnia, instead of just slapping a hydroxyzine bandaid on the insomnia.
