I just recently started and ended topiramate, i was on it for about 4 days before stopping it cold turkey due to severe side effects. i have been having confusion, trouble sleeping, nausea, and bm problems. when will the side effects go away?

SOON: I wonder what dose that you took and what it was for. Topiramate can actuate has cognitive issues although 4 days is rather brief time. I am not even sure that it is withdrawal for how short of a time that you were on it. That being said I imagine any issues should wear off soon. Stay hydrated.

Comments: Topirimate is broad spectrum AED and can be tough to suddenly stop due to effects on neurotransmitters. Talk to your doctor increase liquids. You will stabilize
