A member asked:

Packed cell volume (hct)-edta 41.1 gms% ! what does this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Basics: EDTA is a chemical added to a blood sample so it won't clot & prevent meaningful assessment. HCT means hematocrit which is the packed cellular percentage of the sample, the rest would be serum elements. The value cited is normal.
