A member asked:

What medication can i take for body pain after chemotherapy.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pain relief: For nonspecific body aches and pains, acetaminophen is safe as long as you don't imbibe in too much alcohol. Anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen or naproxen are ok if taken with food as long as you don't have high blood pressure, kidney disease or gastrointestinal issues. For significant pain related to tumor involvement, your oncologist must treat you.
