Basics: Infants on breast milk may poop a smear every feed or once a week. Adding formula would make poops more regular but not necessarily daily. If it is soft when they poop it is normal. Fart smell is related to gut germs & expected. Infants also cry often for no reason. If you think something bad is happening see your doc. From the posted info it is not clear anything is abnormal.
