More treatment: I will presume you have either an acute cervical (neck) muscle strain or impingement of a nerve emanating from you neck spine. the med your taking is doing nothing if you are in severe pain. If his started recently, you may need a course of cortisone or strong anti-inflammatory therapy along with adequate doses of a muscle relaxant. If persists, neck spine Xrays, physical therapy, etc.

Need more meds: Cyclobenzaprine is a muscle relaxer that can make you sleepy, It can sometimes help relieve the pinching by relaxing the muscles but in severe cases there may be a lot of inflammation causing swelling and can be contributing to the pinching and making it worse. You may want to do some heat packs as well along with otc aleve or advil. May even need steroid pills or shots based on the response.
