Hello i have been itching between my bum. it has been happening on and off but the last 3 weeks it is very itchy. a few years back my doctor gave me a cream, something like scepter, that did not really help. im using prep h but not fixing it?

Pruritis ani: You may have a perianal dermatitis for which your pharmacist can recommend a nonprescription corticosteroid cream to try. I don't think pinworms are an issue in your age group. Avoid excessive cleaning with toilet paper which is abrasive. After a few wipes,apply warm water until clean,pat dry and apply the cream. See MD if not improved.
