Osteoarthritis: Unfortunately the changes due to arthritis will always be there in your lower back. Osteoarthritis (oa) is very common, and most of us will get it as we get older. It is related to mechanical stress on the joints. Overweight and injury may contribute the development of oa. Quite frequently, changes of oa seen on x-rays do not produce any symtoms. Plus there are many ways to manage the symptoms.
