I bought a fetal doppler i know the difference in sounds. fetal hr is fast like a train, mine is slow. whooshing is placenta. but i'm sure wondering can it cause placenta abrubtion? i used it 3 times today 10-20 mins at a time?

See below: Dopplers do not cause abruptions... high blood pressure, previous uterine surgery, trauma, and cocaine are among reasons for abruption. And this is why we as obgyns NEVER suggest you do your own testing. So see your obgyn immediately and do not use the Doppler it will only cause you anxiety
