I was exposed to chlamydia and took 1g of azithromycin on a partner pill (without testing first) on a thurs and then tested following monday as negative. is it possible to clear the bacteria that quickly in 4 days? or more likely never had it?

See below: Diagnostic test of choice for Chlamydia infection is Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) which is very sensitive and specific. Test-of-cure by NAAT is recommended 3-4 weeks after treatment because earlier testing can yield false-positive result. Therefore, it is very unlikely you had an infection.
